Lakeside Community Church is a small non-denominational country church located in Hanford, California.  Sunday morning offers a fresh and exciting look into the Christian Faith in a family oriented environment.  Lakeside offers Sunday School for all ages from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.  A nursery for infants up to 2 years old is available.

The worship service begins at 10:45 a.m.  Children’s Church is provided during the worship time for 4 year olds through 4th graders.  A nursery for infants through 3 years of age is also provided.

Tim Hanson leads worship with music, drama, and various forms, often highlighting our young people and their gifts.  Pastor Andy Abbas teaches from God’s word and enjoys being a  shepherd to the flock.   He also volunteers as a chaplain for our local police department.

Youth group, (Jr. High & High School) AKA JUNKyard, meets every two weeks on Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. 

Lakeside Community Church is all about family, and our motto, from 50 years ago, is “Come As You Are.”  We hope you will join us on Sunday mornings and “come as you are”, but our prayer is that you go with a better love and understanding of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Directions to Lakeside:

 

From Hanford: Take 10th Avenue South to Kent Avenue, approx. 8 miles from Grangeville Blvd. and 10th Ave. intersection. 

 

From everywhere else, and the fastest way: Take State Highway 198 to Highway 43.  Exit Highway 43 and continue south for seven miles to Kent Ave.  Turn right (west) on Kent Ave. and  drive two miles  to the corner of 10th and Kent Avenues.
